Q: How far in advance should I make my reservation?
A: The sooner the better! People reserve our units weeks and sometimes months in advance. We don’t want you to miss out on the fun! The weekends are our most popular days and book up quickly. So the earlier you reserve the more choices you have.TOP
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes. A deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit does go toward your balance. The remainder is to be paid in full at the time of set-up.TOP
Q: May I have my event at a city or county park?
A: Yes. However, certain permits or licenses may be required. Most require proof of insurance (certificate of insurance). Check with the individual park or call us to find out the requirements. There is a $50 fee to be named as additionally insured. TOP
Q: Will the moon jump ruin my grass?
A: No. The grass will jump back to its natural form within a day or two.TOP
Q: When do you deliver my order to the party?
A: We usually deliver in the morning between 8am and 11am. Pick up will begin around dusk. If there are special time requirements, our professional full time staff will work with you. If a later pick up is required, an additional charge will be accessed. TOP
Q: What if I do not have electric near by?
A: We keep generators available in inventory for an additional rental fee.TOP
Q: Do I need an attendant?
A: There must always be a capable individual supervising the moon jump. TOP
Q: What are important questions to ask when renting a moon
jump?
A: Does the moon bounce have a safety ramp? If not, do not rent it. TOP
Q: How are the moon jumps cleaned?
A: We use a combination of an antibacterial disinfectant and steam cleaning. TOP
Q: What is the right size moon jump for me?
A: Get the largest moon jump that will fit in your yard. The more room the kids have to bounce, the safer everyone is. We carry 8’x8’, 10’x10’, 13’x13’, 15’x15’ and even 22’x22’ jumps.TOP
Q: What if it gets really windy outside?
A: The moon jumps must be shut off if winds exceed 15 mph. No exceptions!TOP
Q: Is it ok to tip the driver?
A: Please do! Our drivers work really hard to make your party a success. If they have done a good job, please let them know.TOP
Q: How much should I pay for a Moon Jump?
A: You get what you pay for. Cheap moon jumps cost less and therefore are rented for less. Higher quality moon jumps have the latest safety features and are made of more durable materials. They are more expensive to purchase and therefore cost more to rent. If you want the convenience of having someone deliver, set up, give instructions, and take down the moon jump, you will pay more. If you don’t mind giving up your time, there are rental agencies where you can pick up a moon jump in your own vehicle, set it up, take it down, fold it up and drive it back – you will save about $20. TOP
Q: Can the moon jump be left over night?
A: Experience has shown that leaving them overnight increases the chance of the moon jumps getting moist and developing mildew, which is unhealthy and difficult to remove. As long as the moon jump is on your property, you are responsible for the unit. Therefore, we pick up the moon jumps and inflatable units the same day.TOP
Q: Does the blower on the moon jump need to be running all
the time?
A: Yes. The inflatable will deflate if the blower is turned off.TOP
Q: Can I set a moon jump on my lawn if I have a sprinkler
system?
A: Yes. Please notify our office at the time of booking. We will mark the contract accordingly. Our drivers will provide sand bags for anchoring the unit down. Metal stakes will not be used. An additional charge will apply for this service.TOP
Q: Why do I have to rent for the day rather than the 3–4
hours?
A: We used to do hourly rentals and found that most customers needed it longer. It ‘s rare that we come to pick up a jump after an 8-hour rental and it’s not being used up to the last minute. TOP
Q: What are the rules when using a moon bounce?
A: No food or drink, no shoes, no sharp objects, no visible metal zippers, no wresting/roughhousing, no hanging on the netting, no flips, no Silly String and no sand. People with underlying medical conditions, including pregnancy, should consult with their healthcare provider prior to using moon jumps or other inflatables.TOP
Q: Can you set the moon jump up on cement?
A: Yes, the moon bounce will be secured with sand bags rather than stakes. However, it is highly recommended that the moon jump be set up on grass whenever possible. It is possible that someone could slip getting into or out of the moon jump and hit the ground. The concrete is unforgiving when this happens. There is an additional fee for hard surface set-up.TOP
Q: Can you set the moon jump up anywhere in the yard?
A: The moon jump needs to be within 100 feet of an outlet and the area must be free from any obstructions that may pose a safety risk. TOP
